The Midium

Old Blood Noise Endeavors' description of the Old Blood Noise Endeavors BLACK FOUNTAIN stereo

THE MIDIUM® CURATOR'S NOTE: Signature Edition

CAM: Recognizing the people behind a musical instrument's creation is as vital as recognizing the artist who plays it and the audience who appreciates it. In that spirit, The Midium® asked Brady Smith of Old Blood Noise Endeavors to please sign a run of their Black Fountain Stereo pedals in our collection. It is The Midium®'s hope that you feel a deeper connection with your Old Blood Noise Endeavors Black Fountain Stereo Signature Edition, with the knowledge that Brady himself added a personal touch to the units in our collection. All of our Signature Edition pedals and instruments are priced the same as unsigned versions because we simply wanted to take an extra step for the Artists who count on The Midium® and offer a more unique and special experience every time a pedal or instrument is played.  We hope you enjoy this special pedal, as it takes the philosophy of Black Fountain to the stereo realm and beyond.

A BLACK FOUNTAIN ON BOTH SIDES.

Building on the inimitable oil can delay sound that put them on the map, Old Blood Noise Endeavors' new stereo version of the Black Fountain expands more than just from mono to stereo. A wider control set with added sonic options, lower noise floor, dual delay lines that play together in a multitude of ways, presets, MIDI and expression control over everything all combine in a pedalboard friendly package. What was your always-on is now also your multi-tool.

Black Fountain emulates the sound of an oil can delay: warm, modulated, and a little gritty. It’s perfect for chorusing, doubling, slapback, and long rhythmic delays alike. You choose the amount and rate of modulation, the tone and grit of the core voice, the two delay times and their feedback, and the mono/stereo voice of it all. For integration into many different rigs, Black Fountain has the following...
