We have a 14-day return policy for new items, and 7-day return policy for some used/vintage items, on a case-by-case basis.  This means you have 14 calendar days after receiving your new item to request a return, and 7 calendar days after receiving your used item to request a return.  We determine at our sole discretion whether or not a return/refund would be processed.  We are a small boutique and returns increase our costs, especially since returned items cannot be sold as new or as un-used; that considered, all returns (with the exception of those pertaining to a verified warranty issue where the manufacturer expressly instructs that the item be sent back to us) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Please also note that we cannot accept returns for buy-try-return scenarios, as we would then have to sell a practically new item as open-box or used, and as a very small business these scenarios increase our costs.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions you might have and we would gladly help you any way that we can.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with all original tags/guides/manuals/stickers and original contents, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase to request approval of a return.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@themidium.com, where you would include all order information, including your telephone number and email address. If your return request is approved, the purchaser would buy a return label and insure the package for the retail value of the item (if it's for a warranty issue, we would provide you with the label). We would also provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If accepted for processing, all non-warranty related returns must be shipped back to The Midium® at the customer's expense, fully insured, with signature confirmation, and professionally packed by either UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like wearables (such as headphones) and equipment that may come in contact with your mouth (such as microphones or breath controllers), and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. We will need up to 14 calendar days, or longer if extra time is needed, to fully inspect and test any items returned to us. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. If not approved, the item would be shipped back to the buyer at our expense.  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too.
