Old Blood Noise Endeavors' description of the Old Blood Noise Expression Ramper X3 Signature Edition (signed by Brady Smith)

THE MIDIUM® CURATOR'S NOTE: Signature Edition

Recognizing the people behind a musical instrument's creation is as vital as recognizing the artist who plays it and the audience who appreciates it. In that spirit, The Midium® asked Brady Smith of Old Blood Noise Endeavors to please sign a run of their Expression Ramper X3 pedals in our collection. It is The Midium®'s hope that you feel a deeper connection with your Old Blood Noise Endeavors Expression Ramper X3 Signature Edition, with the knowledge that Brady himself added a personal touch to the units in our collection. We hope you enjoy this special pedal for a very, very long time.

EXPRESS YOURSELF WITH RAMPERS, LFOs, AND SYNC.

Expression Ramper X3 is more than the sum of its parts. It starts with three individual Expression Rampers, which are devices allowing you to pick two expression settings and move between them, either in one motion or as a continuous LFO activated by a footswitch.

It then adds tempo syncing, new LFO shapes, and other external controls, all in one tidy box. It is the ultimate device for getting new sounds out of your existing expression-enabled pedals.

Controls per Ramper include:

  • Set toggle and knob to set A position, B position, and LFO Rate

  • Shape toggle to determine LFO motion (triangle, square, one-shot, smooth random, sharp random, or one-shot random)

  • Footswitch to set expression output in motion

  • Internal configuration for TRS, TRS reverse polarity, and TS expression compatibility, as well as ability to replace built-in 50K digipot with 10K or 100K versions

In addition, Rampers II and III include:

  • Sync toggle to match Ramper I’s speed or entire output

  • Subdivisions when synced, via the Rate setting

Ramper I includes:

  • Tap Tempo switch

  • Tap/Exp input jack

  • Tap Out jack

For more information, see the Expression Ramper X3 manual available here.

Requires 9V DC center negative 2.1mm jack power supply capable of 50mA (not included).
