In Yana's words, "We're a boutique company, and our community is our inspiration.  We listen closely, stay deeply involved where music production is going, and let [artists'] needs guide us."  Their focus on innovation in the realm of control, be it MIDI-based or CV, also comes to the fore.  When asked about their work ethic, Yana says that she and Shiko keep Shik "technology driven and innovation-focused... we pour ourselves into every device we ship, every update we release, every decision we make."  Encapsulating their vision is a sense of love that drives them to dedicate themselves to Shik's growth, and as a result, ensure a streamlined Artist experience when using Shik tools and instruments.  "This is our baby," adds Yana.  "And we treat it that way.  Because powerful should never mean complicated.  That's what SHIK is.
